A White Christmas   Leave a comment

Well, it’s not Christmas but it certainly is white. Christmas day, it was sunny with only a dusting of snow on the ground and although it was a little nippy you could still run outside without a coat. Not today. Two days later, what didn’t come on Christmas arrived today. The temperature has dropped considerably and the snow hasn’t stopped falling. By my estimation there’s at least one to two feet of snow depending on where the wind blows it. It’s been pretty strong for the last few hours so while there are patches where you can actually see the ice covering the ground, there are others where you sink in a pool of snow. While this would have been nice to have for Christmas, I certainly won’t complain since it’s nice we actually got a good snowstorm and I am well prepared to sit down and enjoy the white stuff, safe and sound in my home with a good book to read. And I have plenty of those. 🙂

Your grace is enough...

"But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong." 2 Corinthians 12:9-10
