I know, two posts from me in the same month. What a shocker. 😉 But I got some exciting news I want to share with all of you. My sister, after several years, has finally made her music debut! Collaborating with composer BlauDisS, she lends her vocals in his latest track, Submerged, and I got to tell you, it’s positively epic! Check it out, and if you like it, please give it some love and share with your friends. 🙂

It’s kind of funny that the movie itself was what I wanted to see the most, and I ended up getting the soundtrack instead, but hey, it’s better than nothing. Anyway, on to the review. The soundtrack is composed by Hans Zimmer, the guy who did the music for the Dark Knight Trilogy, which is a masterpiece to say the very least. I heard some of his music for Man of Steel on one of the trailers, so when the album was available, I decided to give it a shot.
It’s certainly not the Dark Knight, but it’s still pretty good, and much better than the score by John Williams, composer for the first Superman movie starring Christopher Reeves.
Some parts are little slow, and the climax feels like it gets cut off abruptly in a few places, Still, I enjoyed it a lot and give the album 4.8 out of 5 stars, and definitely recommend it to those who enjoyed Hans Zimmer’s work on the Dark Knight Trilogy. The soundtrack has its flaws, but overall, it is a great piece of work.
