Here everyone is my first update on the progress of my book!
I couldn’t bear to reveal I was at a mere 395 words so I labored and spent as much time as I could writing. I can now say I have written over ten thousand words. Hurray!
There is still a lot more writing to be done before my book will be ready for publishing but it is at least a start. Hopefully if I continue to push, my story should be ready for a late fall 2012 release. Hopefully. The latest would be a early spring of 2013. I personally don’t want to wait that long. I want to publish my book this year so I’m praying that God will give me speed and inspiration to get it done.
The publisher I’m favoring the most is CreateSpace from Amazon. You can set your own price and get most of the royalties. The best part is that you are your own boss. I may or may not go with them as I am still looking around. One thing is for sure though, my book will be getting published very soon. That is something I can hardly wait for.
Wow! How exciting; I’m really happy for you!
What’s your novel about?
Thanks! It’s mainly about a guy who lost his memory and has been raised to be a trained killer. In order to save the land from darkness he will have to find out who he is and stop a war between elves and men. It will have elves, griffins, dwarves, and even wolves!
Thanks by the way for commenting. 🙂
(You’re welcome. I know how it feels to have no one commenting on your blog.)
Wow, that sounds really good! I’ll have to read it when it hits the shelves.
(Yeah, it can be discouraging when no one comments.)
Thank you! Its going to be a trilogy so I’ll warn you ahead of time that there will be a cliffhanger at the end. 🙂
Oh…are you as bad as Batson and Hopper with those? (like at the end of RIse of the Wyrm Lord and The Lion Vrie) I could swear, those two love making us sweat… :- /
Hehehe! Probably. I like cliffhangers so expect a lot of those. 🙂 But don’t worry, I won’t leave everyone hanging for long!
Well, that’s a relief.
Then again, that’s what they all say…. ;P
Well, I’ll try to not leave you hanging. 😉
Are you working on a book at all?
