Last night we had some snow fall, and it looked like a winter wonderland. Today, at almost fifty degrees, it’s a little slushy and wet.
I missed getting some good pics of the snow on the tree branches but these aren’t too bad. 😀

Well, it may not be a parade, but it is a most auspicious day today for not only have I posted my tenth post, but my sister has finally opened up a blog of her own! Yay!
Here is the link to check it out:

This is her first blog so please visit and leave some comments on there. 😉
This is a little late for Valentine’s Day but I couldn’t resist showing the flowers I and my sister got for our dear sweet mother! Aren’t they pretty? We could have gotten her red but we thought the pink looked nicer. And when our mother got them she said she preferred the pink.J So that worked out very well!
Here everyone is my first update on the progress of my book!
I couldn’t bear to reveal I was at a mere 395 words so I labored and spent as much time as I could writing. I can now say I have written over ten thousand words. Hurray!
There is still a lot more writing to be done before my book will be ready for publishing but it is at least a start. Hopefully if I continue to push, my story should be ready for a late fall 2012 release. Hopefully. The latest would be a early spring of 2013. I personally don’t want to wait that long. I want to publish my book this year so I’m praying that God will give me speed and inspiration to get it done.
The publisher I’m favoring the most is CreateSpace from Amazon. You can set your own price and get most of the royalties. The best part is that you are your own boss. I may or may not go with them as I am still looking around. One thing is for sure though, my book will be getting published very soon. That is something I can hardly wait for.

"But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong." 2 Corinthians 12:9-10
